Needed a small table with just two chairs as I have a narrow kit hen. I already have a dinning table but I want one for the kitchen. This little set works perfectly for us it had a narrow foot print is basically a half oval which allows it to have decent table to room and still be small. The style is contemporary with a light color. The set was easy to assemble and i had it done in about an hour. These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that.
