One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. Assembly was easy for one person and the table feels super sturdy/stable. The top is MDF and not real wood, so will see how it holds up long term, but knowing it was a cheaper alternative it's perfect for our needs. Had this table for a year now held up well. I needed a table slightly more narrow and shorter than average. I also liked that this table had four legs in the corner. It allows us to have 4 chairs (one on each side) as our normal set up and to be able to add a second chair on each side (to seat 6) when necessary. It is small so when sitting at the table for dinner there is enough room for all parties to have their place setting in front of them but very little room left to fit bowls or serving dishes for dinner. In my case this is a happy trade off to get the dimensions that fit my room best. - Just watch what you clean the table with.
