Impressively solid sofa, given the delivery method means it shows up as what appears to be two of the heaviest sleeping bags you’ve ever handled. Shockingly firm and stable seat. If it seems like the arm rests are too long/poorly fitted with the couch, recommended swapping them to the opposite positions; the legs of each angle are not equal lengths, there’s a short end and a long end. Bed mode also wants the cushions “hamburger style,” so to speak. I’ve included photos of the right and wrong way to line things up, so you can see the difference in fit. Sofa is the smaller sized option.. Hannah. Odenton, MD. Wed Sep 30 2026

We bought this small Serta sofa for a small suite we built on our home. It has a small.sitting area next to the kitchen so this size worked well. It has a twin pull out bed with mattress for guests. It has a nice, soft fabric that seems like it will hold up well to use and wear. The seat cushions are fairly firm, but I like them. I dont like to sink down on a sofa seat. Ive had it for about 2 weeks its a little small but Im short so it kind of fits me I slept on it one time without a Topper just to see how it was and that wasnt good so I bought a navy blue topper for a mattress and I actually leave it on most of the time cuz it makes it a little more comfortable for lounging and I always leave the footstool of it out cuz I like to recline when Im watching TV the only reason I didnt give it five stars is because of the back it makes it kind of awkward I wish the storage was underneath I guess its what they were talking about storage but I make it work I put our bedding there. Overall, nice chair I mean it works as a futon and a chair, which is exactly what I wanted for my guest bedroom. My thought was that I could put it in the corner and then when our friends come with kids, I could pull it out as a kids bed. It seems to work pretty well. The photo is of my husband laying on it. He’s 6’ 4”so it’s long enough for most people and it’s not too bad as far as being comfortable my 10-year-old son laid down on it and fell asleep in the middle of the house so it’s not bad. Shannon.
