This was worth waiting for. Beautiful lines, and nice and firm. It's hard to find a new sofa that won't look anachronistic in a vintage 1930 home, but this does the trick. A pleasant surprise is that it sits a little higher than I expected. The fabric is soft to touch, and it comes with two matching square pillows. I'm delighted with this sofa! Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. Delivery was great: two guys moved my old couch for me then unpacked and put the new one in place. From what I explored at local stores I feel this couch was a good buy!. Nancy Justine. LOVE this couch!!! It’s the perfect size, sooo comfy, and is really modern. Cat toys don’t fit underneath (yay!). The cushions have removable covers, but this couch is verryyy white so I’m nervous for it to get messed up. But I just had a big party with no spills! I do keep it covered most of the time with the cats and my youngest thinks it’s the best place to sploot on top - she sleeps here daily ). Would def recommend this couch! It’s fantastic!! Oh and it’s much higher than our old couch (easier to get up from) and the seat depth is really wide. It’s perfect for my 6’2 husband but is a little long for me at 5’7 to have my feet touch the ground if I have my butt all the way back… but as long as I put a throw pillow behind my back it’s perfect!. I purchased two porter 62” loveseats in nomad snow chenille for my small living room. I love the look and the fabric is very soft and cozy. I like that for a compact loveseat, the seats are nice and deep for me to curl up on (I’m 5’10”) with my dog. I had to situate and steam the slipcovers a bit after delivery to make them look a little tidier but that was to be expected at this price and from reading reviews. The couches are light and I think the frames are pretty cheap (they twist easily when you lift one of the legs which I did to put floor protectors on the legs) so we’ll see how it holds up over time, but I do like them. The nomad snow is a very light/almost white linen color but has just enough beige woven in that I’m hoping it will hide mild dog hair etc and not be too much upkeep!
