I absolutely LOVE my new couch, however the delivery was not a love. After waiting all day for my piece to arrive, 3 movers got the huge box up to my apartment (I was moving furniture for them to get this box through the entrance to the living room) and after knocking into things, they put the HUGE box down & started to walk out. I said, wait, aren’t you suppose to unpack this HUG box & take it away? Answer, “no it’s just a drop off service. the box is your responsibility!” As a single woman living alone I was so upset! After over an hour just trying to open this HUGE box I was finally able to unload. I wish it was made clearer that the unloading would be my responsibility, I spent a lot to get the couch of my dreams but very unsatisfied with the delivery service that was definitely lacking! When this sofa was delivered in three boxes, I was frankly skeptical. In all of my prior experience, sofas were one solid piece of furniture that arrived with a protective covering of shrink wrap. I was in for a big surprise. As we unboxed this sofa, a number of things became clear. The construction is quite ingenious. The frame consists of six pieces. There are two bases, two backs and two arms. All of these fit tightly together with interlocking metal brackets that easily but securely connect. There are twelve legs that screw into the framework of the sofa. The assembly instructions are very easy to follow but hardly even necessary. Best of all, the comfort of this sofa is excellent thanks to the firmness of the two seat and two back cushions and the lovely boucle fabric. I recently got the 90" Ava Sofa with the matching ottoman, and I've been really impressed with it. From the moment it arrived, the setup was incredibly simple. The only assembly required was attaching the legs, which took just a few minutes, so it was ready to use almost immediately. This couch is amazing! Very comfortable and and sturdy. I am 5’ 5” and the cushions reach the back of my knees. There is ample storage space assembly. The directions were missing the specific instructions for doing this configuration but other than that, we were able to put the pieces of the couch together and figure out how to click them together...
