THESE STOOLS ARE PERFECT! We got them in the prestige ivory color and I was so nervous upon them arriving because the review pictures were so difficult to tell what the prestige ivory color actually looks like. It really is a true ivory with some darker brown and gray tones. I love the way the material isn’t a solid light color as any imperfections they may develop overtime should blend well and not stick out. The seat cushion is very comfortable and I love the way that the sides have a slight arm bumper as part of the design. The wood leg color is a very very very dark brown although in some lighting it does appear almost black. We needed barstools that were countertop height and would be able to support big people. The weight limit on these barstools is impressive. Theyre comfortable and look nice, plus they can easily be wiped down. The material is not smooth, so you dont slide right out of them. My son is 63 and 450 lbs. He sat in the stool but found it to be uncomfortable because the seat curves up a little on the sides, which digs into his rear and legs. He also felt like the seat wasnt deep enough for him to sit comfortably. Everyone else in the house loves the stools, so were definitely keeping them. My husband is also 63 but weighs 235 lbs. and he uses the stools every day. Thats a long-winded way of saying that people on the tall and wide side may need to find a stool with a wider, deeper seat or a bench style. However if you are sitting in them for more than an hour and not just a quick meal, my husband said they get uncomfortable for him.
