Very sturdy!! And well made. Look for screws outside of the interior box as our box was open and the screw package fell out as we opened the bigger box but did find it eventually while clearing up the packaging! I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). Our executive desk's U-shaped form provides plenty of space to spread out your work. It's made of engineered wood that goes with practically any style or color choice. One side of this desk features a rectangular workspace with a modesty panel underneath. The other side has a three-drawer file cabinet for storing and organizing files, books, and other office materials.

Ordered 2 at once. One arrived from New Jersey (?) in perfect condition, but the second shipped from TX never arrived. Customer service has been perfectly helpful for all FIVE (?) calls. A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. Love the two working ones and recommend 100%... again, if not arriving from Texas! I'm sharing damaged photos of last one sent, but not of two we kept, b/c they fit description perfectly.. Christina. Beautiful desk and easy to assemble. I would give it 5 stars except for two issues: the 4 screws for the keyboard tray require a cross tip screwdriver (which is either not in the instructions or I missed it) - not a problem getting one to use. However, screwing the tray in was quite difficult without first putting blocks under the board to bring it up to the correct level so you could put pressure on the screws when screwing in. Secondly the supports on one side were not flush at the corner (see photos) causing the short side to be in slightly.
