I had concerns about buying an assemble-it-yourself sofa, but after the furniture store sofa I ordered didnt fit through my dumb, narrow, 100-year-old doors, I warmed up to the idea. No complaints so far. Comfortable, sturdy, easy to assemble, and good quality materials. Not sure Id mistake the material for real leather, but it has a good feel to it and its easy to maintain. The perfect size, so comfy! The pillows and back cushions are so squishy with down. But the seat cushion is more firm - more foam than down. The only down side to this couch is the smell. I believe it’s the down in the couch but the scent is kind of muskymusty. I have had to spray it several times with fabric refresher. Was easy to put together but would have been nice to know you have to put the pieces together upside down. It doesn’t explain that in the directions.
