It’s really nice for the price, but smaller than expected. It looks like solid wood, but the dimensions provided were false. The unextended length is 47 in and with extension only 59in. First time purchasers from Wayfair here so didn't know what expect. After looking at the local furniture companies with their outrageous prices we decided to go this route. A recent remodel required a whole new dining set. We bought the chairs locally but needed a table exactly as this one. Great quality, weight, ease of assembly and received quickly. The finish, weight, stability and quality is better than anything I saw here locally. The finish is a high gloss white and locks securely when the leaf is not engaged. One note....the table in the 'closed' position is listed as 36x36, it is not; it's 36x50 then when opened is 36x72. Fine for my area since I had the space but others needing the 36x36 dimensions may be in for a surprise. My chairs arrive next week and can't wait to see how they match. OK, first of all let me just say we did have an issue with shipping. The first one arrived and it had a blemish on the top. It had been hit at some point during delivery, so we contacted Wayfair and they were more than happy to send us another table. So we returned that table and another table arrived about five days later and everything was great with it so Wayfair itself is great. FedEx probably needs to be a little more careful. Beautiful table. Nice sleek style but be prepared for 1-2 replacements and needing to be present for delivery. I missed two delivery windows because I was not aware it came with white glove service even if you didnt request it. The first table came very damaged so they sent a replacement. That also had a minor paint issue and the hinges to extend the table did not work 100 I eventually worked out a compromise with wayfair because I was not confident a 3rd table wouldnt also be damaged and I was really attached to the length of the table because I have a large dining area. Gorgeous. The leaf automatically folds into and out of the table for storage or extension. Make sure you have at least 2 people to flip it after the legs are installed, as it is heavy and solid. WARNING: This cross-bar may need to be adjusted for full operation (best before you put the rest of the table together). I had to disconnect the top from the base 3 times to get it right. Default from the factory and the table may not close unless one holds down the side-skirting on the leaf. That sucks. Too far one direction and the table closes, but the leaf will not pivot out. Too far the other direction and the leaf pivots freely, but the table will not close without holding down the side-skirting on the leaf in it's folded position. There's a "sweet spot" such that both operations will work seamlessly. I had to relocate mine about 1/4" inch. It's best if you have a cordless drill and a partner to help. It took 3 attempts to get it right, but once you spend the time to get it right, it's a really nice, small, quaint table that expands easily.. Randy. Boulder, CO. Mon Nov 26 2018
