Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. So I took this sofa out of the package just yesterday so not sure if there will be any more expansion or if it’s fully expanded. It’s very soft and comfortable. It’s all a big spongefoam so there is no need to put it together at all. Now there was a rip on one of the sides, so I am going to try to sew it and hope there is no other tearing. Nice for a cheap loveseat. I bought two and was able to fairly easily assemble the first one. We ran into a problem with the second one as the frame was bent. I had to hire a handyman to come fix it so that it would connect. It reclines easily, and is actually a wall hugger so great for small spaces. I’m pretty happy with this purchase, way less expensive than most of the mainstream ones. I took one star off for comfort and back height, it’s extremely low so you can’t sit in it like a regular couch unless you stack pillows against the wall. Definitely will meet the need for when I have extra guests. Can be slept on as a twin or folded out to a queen. Overall I’m happy with it.
