The color is even more beautiful in person (it my personal opinion and it my homes lighting- it’s definitely more grey than beige) but it’s gorgeous. We bought this for our small living roommusic room. We use it to sit on and play guitars. It’s pretty stiff but surprisingly comfy for the price. Assembly was easy, it took two of us to put the back piece on, but the rest I did by myself and took less than 10 min. The velvet is really soft and seems like nice quality. The color is a lot darker than the photo, but I knew that going in from looking at reviews for the love seat. It’s pretty much what I expected after reading reviews if similar items. It’s a small couch it’s low and not too deep. It’s pretty firm. All of these things are just fine, but what disappoints me was that there was some damage to one of the boxes, and a big dirty black streak on the pieces of sofa that was directly behind the damage. It would have been no big deal if it was on the back of the sofa, but of course it had to be right in the front. Also, the buttons on the lower frame piece seem mismatched. Some are very dark while others match the couch. If I had to do it all over again, I’d spend a little more money and get something a little higher quality.. Brenda.
