As several other reviews have mentioned, the assembly while straightforward is a little tricky. The couch arrives in three different boxes. One box has the bench seat which contains the legs and cushions inside the bottom of it. You will need two people minimum to assemble this couch. Once you lineup, the pieces like the arm and the seat you will have to push down, but you won’t see it going in so you have to line it up really well before you start pushing it in. it’s easy to get one side in and then not get the other side in. for the first arm attachment, we stood the seat up on its end, making it easier. with two people it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and assemble it. The legs look OK but they’re just inexpensive plastic so they’re not that beautiful. You might want to replace them with custom legs. Luckily there are lots of places that sell really cool furniture legs if you want something nicer. I think the couch is very comfortable. It has a generous size seat. It is a firmer couch, but the wide arms are really comfy to lean on and it’s comfortable when you stretch out on it. It looks really great. The fabric is nice and the pillows are very high-quality. We bought this seat to add to the sectional we just bought to elongate the sectional set. It's nice that I we could customize the sofa more. All the pieces came for the sectional in great condition with no tearing etc. However there were three pieces, this chair included where there were small manufacturing defects with the locking systems. Like a clamp screwed in the wrong place or the wrong connector placed in a specific spot. This chair was missing a metal connector piece. We are still in the process of getting a hold of the manufacture to remedy these locking system issues. Other than these issues, we really like the couch. Very firm and will hold its shape well. Chenille fabric is very durable and washes great. We have little kids and I've been able to wipe off things very well. The chair backs are perhaps a little low for my husband but I feel supported and I am 5'4". We got the blue color and it is much lighter in person than the photos as a warning. The listing pictures have this as being a deep navy but it is definitely more of a cobalt blue-warmer tone blue if you have a well lit room. If this were in a basement with less natural light than I think it would look much darker. Overall, I would say I am impressed by the material and the firmness of the cushions for durability but for the price we paid I think the manufacturing issues are frustrating and I hope they resolve everything.. Best bang for the buck! I bought the three seater couch that came with (2) ottman's as well as the chair. The installation directions were super easy and I put them all together quickly. Ok…. The directions are 27 pages long. I almost hired someone to put it together until I unboxed it, and it wasn’t that bad. Now…. Though, it took me almost 3 hours, and the directions say 30 minutes ( but that’s with2 people and I’m sure it could get done faster.
