Beech & Maple Kitchen Islands & Carts

This Kitchen Cart offers ample storage options. It is constructed of solid beechwood, which ensures strength and durability. It has a natural finish. This kitchen cart features one utility drawer and a two-door storage cabinet with shelves within. This Kitchen Cart features four wheels with locking feature, which offer easy mobility. This kitchen cart is an extremely useful and smart addition in any kitchen.

We love this cart. Compact design but plenty roomy with nice-sized drawer. Real wood except for fiberboard with veneer for the back panel and drawer bottom, sturdy construction. Predrilled holes lined up perfectly, screws were all included. Instructions were mainly visual with a few tips here and there, mainly regarding adjusting the doors. Other reviewers have complained that the doors don't line up, and they don't until you adjust them, which involves removing the magnets in the front support and removing the top shelf so that the door hinges can be gently teased to an obtuse angle until they rest parallel to the bottom front support bar. When the magnets are replaced, they snug the doors up just perfectly. And the magnets can be moved further in or further out by positioning the screw in one of the two screw positions in the magnet bracket. The wooden screw hole plugs add a nice finished look to the piece. On the con side, the slatted shelves are attractive, but given the choice, I'd have preferred a solid bottom to prevent an insect or mouse from finding its way in. Also, assembly required some skill and in my case, 2 people and a few hours to finish. And finally, a few pieces were labeled, but labeling all of them would have been helpful. But those things didn't come close to being dealbreakers. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this piece again.. Maureen. Lansing, NY. Wed Jul 09 2025

Quality is great and assembly is easy enough! My only complaint is that I could not select the layout of the leaf, drawer, and towel rod. The layout does not work with my kitchen and it is slightly inconvenient.. Ben. Wed Jul 01 2026

Bring polish and function into your kitchen or patio with this two-toned Kitchen Cart. The natural wood top made of Solid Beechwood is a lovely contrast with the darker Walnut-finished cabinet. The cart top provides a wide workspace, with plenty of storage opportunities below. Keep dishes, glassware, and cookbooks on the three removable open shelves. The enclosed cabinet offers additional storage space for servers, canisters, or even tall bottles of vinegar and oil when the center shelf is removed. With a full unit-wide drawer for utensils and a cart handle that doubles as a paper towel holder, you have an ideal time-saving workstation at your fingertips. The unit rolls easily on professional-grade casters, two of which lock to keep the unit stable while in use. Made of solid and composite wood.

Very happy with the cart. The drawer screw holes had to be red redrilled as they were too small. Otherwise, easy to assemble.. Ricky. Attleboro, MA. Thu Apr 22 2021

Bring function and flair to your kitchen with this 1-draw solid and manufactured wood rolling cart. Its interior storage space is perfect for stowing spare serve ware while its butcher-block top can be used to prepare fresh ingredients for dinner or to display a bowl of faux fruit for a charming accent.

Add rustic charm to any setting with the stylish Maple Gathering Block Island. This 25″ long island features a distressed painted finish that provides an attractive vintage look. Very classy design, heavy and sturdy with eye-catching detail and impressive proportions. This was a significant purchase for my new home, and it looks like it was made just for my kitchen. But I am not $1,500 worth of happy... I would put my happiness rating at about $900. But I paid over $1,500 and I have some issues with this item. Mostly, the paint and overall finish on the legs and frame it not what I expected. The little bare detail spots are very rough and not sanded smooth so they will snag clothing if you brush up against it. And the wood used for the legs is heavy but also can be dented quite easily (which happened during assembly using a hand tool). But the real kicker for me is the paint job... for this much money it just doesn't seem to be "finished." You can scratch it off with a fingernail. With 3 small dogs in my house this is a potential problem. Add to that, the paint was not sealed in any way- and John Boos SELLS a poly coat product! I guess John Boos wants me to spend another $30.... and apply it myself. Which would have been easier before I assembled it. Now that it's put together, it will be a difficult job. So for a piece that cost almost as much as my new leather sofa I am satisfied enough with it, but not totally happy and excited.. Karen M. Lawrenceville, GA. Sat Apr 26 2025

The block is a staple for food prep in today's lifestyle. Made in the USA, this solid 10'' thick maple block can handle heavy-duty, professional culinary chopping, to the light slicing of recreational cooks. With the penetrating oil finish, there are no worries about cutting or damaging the block surface, and the end grain construction will not dull your knives. Revel in the delight of the AB Block. It is a must-have butcher block that will last generations.

Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Delivery could have been better. I just happened to see them putting the 160 pound butcher block in front of my garage door. They said they didn’t think anyone was home. I had to ask them to put it in my house, which they did, although somewhat reluctantly.. Charles. Topeka, KS. Wed Apr 06 2022

I love the quality and look of my new Boos butcher block island. My only complaint is that I wished the drawers were two inches longer so they lined up with the block and therefor provide additional space. That being said, I would still recommend this beautiful piece.. Danette. Idaho Falls, ID. Tue May 26 2026

I hemmed and hawed for months over whether or not to order this island. I’m so glad I pulled the trigger. It fits in nicely with our old farmhouse. The quality is superb and the walnut color is beautiful and compliments our wood ceiling beams. My hubby and I had it put together in about 30 minutes. Just an FYI this is a substantial, very heavy, well made piece of furniture. Now I just need to add a couple counter stools..... Noelle. Stanardsville, VA. Sat Nov 14 2020

Designed for longevity, this island is the ultimate place to gather, eat and entertain.

If you are thinking of buying this and are a little nervous don't hesitate. It arrived and each peice was expertly packed, there would be no way of damage. We were able to put together in less than 30 mins. One thing to consider is the weight of the item, it is extremely heavy and multiple people are needed to carry in as well as assist in putting together. Worth every penny and will be apart of my family for generations to come. I purchased the useful grey, I really think would go with any decor.. Maria. Toanawanda, NY. Mon Jun 27 2016

The Cucina Americana line blends European design with trademark butcher blocks and food service-grade stainless steel to create kitchen equipment that is unique, attractive, and functional. This prep table features a stainless steel base.

We ordered the Cucina GrNSW Prep Table with Butcher Block Top (without the optional pot rack mounted above as the picture shows). It took about 5 weeks from order to delivery. We paid extra for the white glove service to construct the prep table. I have to say the service was exceptional, the delivery team were professional, and had the table assembled and all the packing material removed from our kitchen (two flights of stairs up from the street) in no time - they were very respective and quick. We LOVE the Prep Table, our ONLY comment is that the lower shelf sort of tings whenever we place anything on that shelf. This is not a deal breaker, but we might try to find a way to dampen the “ting” sound whenever we put anything on the lower shelf. Bottom line - we LOVE this prep table, it looks so nice in our kitchen!. Paula. San Diego, CA. Sun Jul 09 2023
