This seat is really nice but the manufacturer made some really odd and annoying choices. First, the assembly on this thing turned out to be a lot less complicated than I made it, but only because they didnt provide any instructions. This is definitely a 3-person assemble job!!! The reason being is because the clips that attach the back are already screwed into the unit. You have to u screw them from the unit then take the extremely heavy back piece and screw the connector into place. You need 2 people to hold the heavy back piece into place and 1 person to screw it in. I did it by myself and nearly broke my back trying to hold it up. Please dont do that! The second really odd choice is that the arms are just pillows. I repeat, the arms of the chair are 2 detached cushions! This is basically an armless chair because why in the world would you put an arm rest that can, will and does repeatedly fall off the side of the chair with the slightest movement. Its extremely annoying. Third, the mechanism to pull out the bed only works 50 percent of the time. You have to constantly pull and pull and pull to get the chair to lift and shift. Most of the time it doesnt catch and you end up pulling the entire chair forward. Super annoying.. Daryl. Wed May 04 2022

The assembly time for this wasn’t bad. It took less than half an hour for two people. It sits very low to the ground so probably isn’t the best bet for someone with bad knees. The pillow cushions on the seat portion are not removable, so they can only be spot cleaned. It seems reasonably sturdy and is a cute little addition to my home office/den. It’s definitely not top of the line quality, but suits the purpose I need it for. Bonus that it pulls out to a bed! As far as comfort, the pillow cushions are a bit flat, but I’m guessing they’ll plump up over time. The mechanism to slide it into a bed is pretty easy to use. Great for a den or playroom! The color is a rich, brighter navy.. Michelle. Niskayuna, NY. Wed Jul 22 2026

Bought for my son for his first apartment, great size and sleek look, padding on the futon is about thinner than shown in photo. Great price for this futon couch.. Tina. Monterey, CA. Fri Feb 21 2025

Very sturdy piece, can see why it’s priced high. Looks much like the photo, but more futon-like. Really, it IS a futon, with nice fabric, and unique pillows. My cat scratched it. You can tell. Ha.. Jen. CA. Tue Dec 30 2025
