So, don’t get me wrong I LOVE this recliner. Its fabric is nice, thick and looks to be durable. Its color is true to the online pictures. It’s super comfortable and has plenty of cushion with adjustable lumbar support and head rest. It rocks, swivels and reclines making it the perfect comfy chair. And YES! You can rock with a slight recline. Also, the recliner feels solid which I expected with flexsteel. However, theres a couple things to note, which is why the 4 star rating. First, was that we actually ordered the hand lever version and was sent the electric version. I’m not really complaining honestly, but it’s worth noting the wrong item was technically sent. And in receiving the electric version came some of the features we loved (adjustable lumbar and head rest), but also where some of the issues come in. The buttons are not labeled and take some getting use to. They can also be a little finicky. For example. I pressed the recline button then the foot button to adjust the feet and went to adjust the back again, but it wouldn’t recline. I had to set the recliner back to default and restart the chair adjustment. Another is that the recliner does not lay flat. For me this isn’t a big issue, it’s good enough. But others may want the feature. Lastly, the slots that fit the back of the chair to the base can be difficult to get together on assembly and leave a gap at the seat back if not settled. Aside from these things though I do love the chair and recommend it!. Anonymous. Mon Aug 24 2026

Where to start, well this chair was delivered wrapped up in a mile of bubble wrap and packing tape. At first I thought it fell off the FedEx truck, but later learned it was packed like that by the shipper. Next a 350lb weight capacity and 70" total recline is a joke. I'm 6' 250lb and this.chair is just big enough I would definitely look elsewhere if you are bigger than me especially since the thickness of the steel used in this construction is thin. But the worst of all is the upholstery is so thin at the edges that you noticeability feel the ends of the seat bottom and top jabbing you in the back. It was so dad, the only fix I had was to jam a blanket between the space between them. I bought this to recover from surgery. Now I have to recover from this chair too. After I no longer need this chair I'm throwing it away, it's garbage.. John. Middle Village, NY. Thu May 02 2024

So far, so good. This is my first wayfair purchase, and while it has all around good reviews I was still a little bit nervous. But, delivery was quick and easy. This particular chair was pretty simple to put together, just snap the back into place and it’s only one screw to put the handle on. It’s a firmer cushion but I appreciate the support. Like others said, you don’t “sink” into it, at least not while it’s still new. I’m about 5’3” and on the heavier side and there’s plenty of room for both me and my cat. If you’re leaning towards it, definitely give it a try. You can’t beat it for the features (nice recline angle, glides, and fully swivels). Definitely feels like it should hold up for quite a bit, both the base and frame seem very sturdy.. Gabby. Steele, MO. Sun Oct 23 2022
