Still waiting on the chairs for this table. The base is heavy and the wood is excellent quality. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. Aside from that, it’s very sturdy and I love the shape of the base.. Melissa. New York, NY. Mon Aug 10 2026

Elevate your dining area with this stylish oval table, blending modern design with smart functionality. The left base features a storage cabinet with fluted glass doors and built-in lighting, while the spacious tabletop comfortably seats 6-8 guests. The tabletop features premium wear-resistant & waterproof surface treatment, effectively resisting scratches, liquid spills and stubborn stains. Easy to wipe clean and maintain daily neatness effortlessly. It doubles as a dining spot or workspace, perfect for hosting or daily use.

Great Design & Functional Storage. I am actually pretty impressed with this table and here’s why - I really like the oval shape - my dining room is weirdly shaped due to a specific design of the house (it’s not square, it’s not round, it has multiple corners…) so it was a real challenge to find a shape that would fit. The oval shaped table is perfect. I also like the deep, rich espresso/dark walnut wood finish - it instantly became a focal point of the dining room and fits seamlessly with the decor and the rug. The design is very nice too, especially because of the textured, fluted details on the pedestal base - they add this mid-century modern flair which we like. Also, additional storageis super important for us - that’s why the built-in cabinet base with shelves is a massive bonus - arched, fluted glass doors provide excellent storage for dinnerware (or decor) without looking cluttered. The size, however, is a point for debate with my wife - she thinks it will comfortably sit only 4 people because the storage takes space, but I disagree - I think there’s plenty of space for 6 people (someone sitting in front of the glass doors may just need to be more careful not to hit them with their knees or feet…) Overall, I think the table is a perfect blend of style and functionality and is certainly a great addition to our dining room. The assembly was pretty straight forward until I go the the fluted accents. The two around the storage unit were OK to deal with. The one going around the single pedestal base, thouth, was tricky. It's not quite long enough to go around and meet for a seamless connection. There is a gap between the two ends and something to consider when you are putting it together. Plan for a small gap and work to place it inside where it's not easily seen.. Curtis. Fairfax, VA. Sun Jun 28 2026

This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The whole process from start to finish was so much easier than I expected. I had been looking around for a while trying to find something that would actually fit the look I wanted, and I kept coming back to this one because of the black marble design and the wood base. I was a little nervous about ordering furniture online because you never really know how it’s going to look in person, but I’m so glad I decided to go for it. Ordering was super easy and straightforward. There weren’t a bunch of confusing steps, and I was able to place my order without any issues. The shipping was also much quicker and smoother than I expected. I really appreciated that it was delivered right to my door because getting larger furniture home can be such a hassle. Everything arrived packaged really well, and there was no damage to the table or the pieces inside. I always get nervous when ordering anything with a marble or marble-look finish because I worry about scratches, cracks, or chipped corners during shipping, but thankfully everything arrived in great condition. Assembly was another thing I was pleasantly surprised about. I was expecting it to be one of those pieces where you open the box and immediately regret buying it because there are a million pieces and confusing instructions, but it was actually really easy to put together. The instructions were simple enough to follow, and once I had everything laid out, it didn’t take nearly as long as I thought it would. The pieces lined up properly, and I didn’t have to fight with anything or try to figure out what went where. It felt like the kind of assembly that you can actually do yourself without needing to call someone over to help. And once it was completely put together, I was even happier with it. The pictures looked good online, but I think it looks even better in person. The black marble look is exactly what I was hoping for. It gives it a really nice modern appearance without looking cheap or overly plain. The wood base adds a little warmth and makes the whole design look more interesting. I really like the contrast between the darker tabletop and the wood because it keeps it from just looking like a big solid black piece of furniture. The color is also perfect for my space. I have a lot of gray, black, and darker colors in my home, so it fits in really well without looking out of place. I was specifically looking for something that would have a modern look but still have enough detail to stand out, and this definitely does that. It has a nice weight and presence to it without making the room feel crowded. I also really like the overall design because it looks more expensive than I expected it to. That was probably one of my biggest concerns when shopping online. Sometimes furniture looks amazing in the listing photos and then arrives looking completely different or flimsy in person. That wasn’t the case with this. It has a really nice appearance and feels like an intentional piece of furniture rather than something that was just thrown together. I’ve gotten several compliments on it already, and I’ve only had it for a short time. It completely changed the look of the space and pulled everything together. I love how the black marble catches your attention without being too much, and the wood base gives it that little extra detail that makes it different from other tables I was looking at. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the purchase. From browsing and ordering, to having it delivered right to my door, to putting it together, the entire experience was easy and stress-free. The product arrived in great condition, assembly was simple, and the finished piece looks exactly like what I wanted. I love the black marble color, I love the wood base, and I really love how modern and clean the whole design looks. I would absolutely recommend this to someone who is looking for a modern piece that looks stylish without being ridiculously complicated to assemble. I’m very happy I took the chance on it, and it ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely one of those purchases where you open the box, put it together, step back and look at it, and think, “Yep, I made the right choice.”. Anonymous. Sun Oct 04 2026

Black faux marble counter table design with an extra thick top and a double pedestal base with silver connectors.

Packaged very well. Beautiful table. I was expecting the marble to be white but is a light cream instead. Still gives the look for the esthetic. Building the table was extremely easy to do as well.. Shyra. Columbus, OH. Mon Aug 03 2026

This dining table delivers a modern silhouette with a cross pedestal base for a clean, sculptural look in your space. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on a central support that adds architectural appeal. The table top features natural woodgrain for added depth, highlighting the organic texture of the walnut finish. Its open base design creates a light, balanced profile that makes any room feel more airy. This piece comfortably supports shared routines or quiet mornings without overwhelming the layout. Plus, the spacious surface provides plenty of room for four people to gather and connect.

The sunburst veneer top is beautiful but the top is thin as compared to the legs. Since I do DYI carpentry, I got an extra top, routed it out to a ring, enough to clear the hardware to attach the legs, screwed it to the underside of the existing top, and then attached the legs. Vendor should consider this instead of a Wayfair hack! See my photo! After months of usage, I discovered the top is abnormally vulnerable to scratches. Moreover, once scratched, the white "scars" eliminate the design and even DIY efforts do not allow coverage with normal stains. What is needed is to cover the whole surface with a dull polyethylene finish to protect the design with normal use. I cannot edit my five stars but would if I could: * * *. Ksc. Newyork City. Over time after 1 year top does rotate. Mil. MD. Mon Apr 13 2026

This dining table invites family and friends around for casual meals and warm, cozy get-togethers. Crafted from solid and engineered wood, it features a classic pedestal base with turned detailing and four curved legs. We love the two-tone finish of antique white and weathered pine, giving your dining room or eat-in kitchen a coastal farmhouse feel. This table also includes a 12" removable leaf, convenient for whenever you have larger gatherings. It measures 54" wide when fully extended to accommodate four or five people comfortably.

I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy. We'll see how it holds up to my kids, but hopefully because it already has a distressed feel any damage they do will blend in.. Stephanie. US. Tue Feb 25 2025

Full assembly is required, and we recommend asking a friend to stop by to help put it together. Chairs are sold separately.

I’m super happy with this. I almost didn’t buy it and looked for a long time to buy something else because of the one review that talks about crumbs getting in the crevices and having to vacuum it. I really hate crumbs and all of that but so far, it’s not been a big issue for me whatsoever. I have vacuumed it a couple times but they come right out. The crevice is not so small that they really get stuck in there. It’s beautiful and well worth the prize. I was looking at things that were three times the amount for this level of quality.. Lora. 47" Round Dining Table for 4-6, Small Space Kitchen Table with Sturdy Pedestal Base

Color not as pictured. Brown is much darker than in picture. I purchased for lighter wood coloring in pictures. Also table seems are not flush. Fairly noticeable gaps through table top. Absolutely beautiful table—great quality for the price! I’d give the table itself 5 stars, but the shipping experience was terrible. It arrived in two separate pieces one came early, while the second arrived late, damaged, and missing hardware. The replacement tabletop also took forever to arrive and still had a few small dings and scratches. Rather than go through the replacement process again, I’m just going to live with it. I am so happy with our new kitchen table. The table itself is beautiful. It was very easy to put together with two people. You really need two people because of the weight of the table top. Everything lined up very well, and all the materials we needed were included. There was a small imperfection noted on the finish of the leaf, but Wayfair’s outstanding customer service took care of it within one day. I would definitely purchase more furniture made by this manufacturer, and I will absolutely be doing further shopping with Wayfair.. Lola. KY. Wed Oct 07 2026

Great sturdy table for small apartment. Has lots of storage space. The instructions were clear and it took me about 45 minutes to complete the build. It is very sturdy and the doors slide smoothly. The storage space seems like it will hold quite a bit. it came with all of the tools needed to build however, the screwdriver provided was not very good so I used my own. The package itself was heavy. but once unpacked, the individual pieces were easily manageable. Great little table.. Katherine. Concord, NC. Sun Jul 19 2026

This counter-height dining table brings mid-century modern design into your space with an architectural silhouette. It's crafted with an iron pedestal base and a smooth marble table top, combining sleek metal and natural stone elements. The open base structure keeps the floor area feeling uncluttered while accommodating seating all around. Designed to seat up to four people, it provides a functional setup for casual meals, morning coffee, or simple gatherings. Plus, the elevated profile pairs seamlessly with standard counter-height stools.

I had looked at dozens of counter height tables for my kitchen. This beautiful and elegant table really fit the bill. All were ugly or mundane or made of cheap materials. The only disappointment was that the base was just powder-coated tubular metal and not cast iron. I had my doubts about the sturdiness of the unit, but now that it is assembled and in place, it seems solid.. Marcia. Carefree, AZ. Sun Aug 02 2026
