Nice looking, solid wood table. We paid to have Wayfair assemble the table. That was a good decision. The fellow provided was prompt, efficient and neat. He even took off his shoes coming into our home! The table is exactly as described. It looks more expensive than the cost, probably because it has to be assembled. Use the assembly option and you won’t be disappointed with this table.. Barbara. Lacey, WA. Wed Oct 07 2026

I absolutely love this table. The design is beautiful and it feels very sturdy once assembled. From the pictures, I expected the tabletop to have more of a glossy finish, but it actually has more of a natural wood look. I also thought it would be a little bigger based on the photos, but the size is perfect for four people. Overall, I’m still extremely happy with it — definitely a 1010 for me. Now I’m just waiting to get the chairs to complete the look!. Donyalee. Arizona. Sat Sep 12 2026

Elevate your dining area with this stylish oval table, blending modern design with smart functionality. The left base features a storage cabinet with fluted glass doors and built-in lighting, while the spacious tabletop comfortably seats 6-8 guests. The tabletop features premium wear-resistant & waterproof surface treatment, effectively resisting scratches, liquid spills and stubborn stains. Easy to wipe clean and maintain daily neatness effortlessly. It doubles as a dining spot or workspace, perfect for hosting or daily use.

Great Design & Functional Storage. I am actually pretty impressed with this table and here’s why - I really like the oval shape - my dining room is weirdly shaped due to a specific design of the house (it’s not square, it’s not round, it has multiple corners…) so it was a real challenge to find a shape that would fit. The oval shaped table is perfect. I also like the deep, rich espresso/dark walnut wood finish - it instantly became a focal point of the dining room and fits seamlessly with the decor and the rug. The design is very nice too, especially because of the textured, fluted details on the pedestal base - they add this mid-century modern flair which we like. Also, additional storageis super important for us - that’s why the built-in cabinet base with shelves is a massive bonus - arched, fluted glass doors provide excellent storage for dinnerware (or decor) without looking cluttered. The size, however, is a point for debate with my wife - she thinks it will comfortably sit only 4 people because the storage takes space, but I disagree - I think there’s plenty of space for 6 people (someone sitting in front of the glass doors may just need to be more careful not to hit them with their knees or feet…) Overall, I think the table is a perfect blend of style and functionality and is certainly a great addition to our dining room. The assembly was pretty straight forward until I go the the fluted accents. The two around the storage unit were OK to deal with. The one going around the single pedestal base, thouth, was tricky. It's not quite long enough to go around and meet for a seamless connection. There is a gap between the two ends and something to consider when you are putting it together. Plan for a small gap and work to place it inside where it's not easily seen.. Curtis. Fairfax, VA. Sun Jun 28 2026

This table is so cute! I will say the quality of the wood is why I gave it 4 stars, it is very very light and easily slides around on a hard floor. This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. Simple, sturdy, and architecturally beautiful.

Perfect for smaller spaces but still able to seat many people! The construction feels sturdy and well-made, and the color is beautiful. The only thing I would mention is that, because of how the table is assembled, there are small cracks between the parts where food can get stuck. This detail isn’t very visible in the listing. Other than that, it’s a great table!. Diana. Seattle. Fri Mar 13 2026

I love this table. It's heavy and feels sturdy. The only thing that upset me is that they shipped it with cloth straps that were stapled to the underside of the table. I understand it probably kept it safer for shipping however the staples were very hard to remove and left some damage to the table, even if no one can see underneath I feel that is disappointing.. The pedestal base provides ample legroom, while the spacious table top is perfect for showcasing your favorite centerpiece. Scratch-resistant properties help protect the surface through daily use, keeping it ready for everything from casual meals to lively game nights. It also provides seating to accommodate up to six people comfortably.

Still waiting on the chairs for this table. The base is heavy and the wood is excellent quality. I wish the tabletop were about an inch thicker, as it is quite thin with a very thick/dense base which throws off the aesthetics a bit. Aside from that, it’s very sturdy and I love the shape of the base.. Melissa. New York, NY. Mon Aug 10 2026

Elevate your dining experience with this stunning Modern Farmhouse Dining Table. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this purchase. The whole process from start to finish was so much easier than I expected. I had been looking around for a while trying to find something that would actually fit the look I wanted, and I kept coming back to this one because of the black marble design and the wood base. I was a little nervous about ordering furniture online because you never really know how it’s going to look in person, but I’m so glad I decided to go for it. Ordering was super easy and straightforward. There weren’t a bunch of confusing steps, and I was able to place my order without any issues. The shipping was also much quicker and smoother than I expected. I really appreciated that it was delivered right to my door because getting larger furniture home can be such a hassle. Everything arrived packaged really well, and there was no damage to the table or the pieces inside. I always get nervous when ordering anything with a marble or marble-look finish because I worry about scratches, cracks, or chipped corners during shipping, but thankfully everything arrived in great condition. Assembly was another thing I was pleasantly surprised about. I was expecting it to be one of those pieces where you open the box and immediately regret buying it because there are a million pieces and confusing instructions, but it was actually really easy to put together. The instructions were simple enough to follow, and once I had everything laid out, it didn’t take nearly as long as I thought it would. The pieces lined up properly, and I didn’t have to fight with anything or try to figure out what went where. It felt like the kind of assembly that you can actually do yourself without needing to call someone over to help. And once it was completely put together, I was even happier with it. The pictures looked good online, but I think it looks even better in person. The black marble look is exactly what I was hoping for. It gives it a really nice modern appearance without looking cheap or overly plain. The wood base adds a little warmth and makes the whole design look more interesting. I really like the contrast between the darker tabletop and the wood because it keeps it from just looking like a big solid black piece of furniture. The color is also perfect for my space. I have a lot of gray, black, and darker colors in my home, so it fits in really well without looking out of place. I was specifically looking for something that would have a modern look but still have enough detail to stand out, and this definitely does that. It has a nice weight and presence to it without making the room feel crowded. I also really like the overall design because it looks more expensive than I expected it to. That was probably one of my biggest concerns when shopping online. Sometimes furniture looks amazing in the listing photos and then arrives looking completely different or flimsy in person. That wasn’t the case with this. It has a really nice appearance and feels like an intentional piece of furniture rather than something that was just thrown together. I’ve gotten several compliments on it already, and I’ve only had it for a short time. It completely changed the look of the space and pulled everything together. I love how the black marble catches your attention without being too much, and the wood base gives it that little extra detail that makes it different from other tables I was looking at. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the purchase. From browsing and ordering, to having it delivered right to my door, to putting it together, the entire experience was easy and stress-free. The product arrived in great condition, assembly was simple, and the finished piece looks exactly like what I wanted. I love the black marble color, I love the wood base, and I really love how modern and clean the whole design looks. I would absolutely recommend this to someone who is looking for a modern piece that looks stylish without being ridiculously complicated to assemble. I’m very happy I took the chance on it, and it ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. Definitely one of those purchases where you open the box, put it together, step back and look at it, and think, “Yep, I made the right choice.”. Anonymous. Sun Oct 04 2026

For the price, this is a very sturdy and functional table. It feels solid, the extensions are easy to add and remove, and the built-in storage for them is really convenient. The size is worth clarifying. In the smallest round configuration, four people fit perfectly with full place settings, and I think six could sit comfortably. Eight would be a stretch for me, even though the table is advertised for 4–8 people. I was honestly overwhelmed by all the table options and was drawn to this one because of the price. In hindsight, I probably would have spent a little more for real wood. The table isn’t unattractive at all, but you can tell that it isn’t real wood, and that matters more to me than I realized. I’ll probably keep it for a year or two rather than deal with the hassle of returning it. It seems sturdy enough to last much longer than that, and I do think it’s a good table for the money. I just don’t love it. If you’re looking for something affordable, sturdy, expandable, and practical, I think it’s a good buy. If the look and feel of real wood are important to you, I’d spend a little more.. Yvonne. Denver, CO. Thu Oct 08 2026

Just to start.. I had an issue with my order initially with someone taking my table and Wayfair was very prompt about resolving my issue. On to the table.. It was fairly easy to put together, and although one person can get the job done, two sets of hands and eyes make the process much easier! I’m very satisfied with the finished look of the table, and how it goes with my decor. I paired it with chenille green dining chairs that I also purchased from Wayfair.. Johari. Chicago, IL.
