The chair itself is very comfortable with a supportive seat and high back, and the fabric feels durable while still being soft. The neutral color works well in the room, and the storage ottoman is spacious and sturdy—perfect for blankets or pillows and works great as a footrest. Unfortunately, the built-in traycup holder was broken off when the chair arrived, which was disappointing. That said, the rest of the chair and ottoman were in good condition and feel well made. Assembly was still simple, and the set is functional and comfortable overall. With better packaging for the tray, this would easily be a 5-star purchase. We bought this to replace the cheap 19+ year old recliner that our Bernese Mt Dogs have claimed as their throne all this time It was old, stinky, broken and long past its pull date. I chose this chair because it looked sturdy (it IS!) and had padded arms. Our current Princess is a bit wary of her new throne, but in another day or so I am sure will she will have it claimed. The only problem was the FedEx driver who literally grunted at me when I asked how much it weighed, rolled it out of his truck into my driveway, then grunted again when I said thank you as he got into the truck and peeled out. Designed with a minimalist but warm feel, this armchair offers clean lines and cozy comfort. It's made from a solid rubber wood frame and has classic square arms and a tight back. Pocket spring seats provide extra support below, while the blend of foam and polyester fill helps cushion the seat and back. Genuine full-grain leather upholstery finishes off the look with a sleek, sophisticated touch that complements all sorts of different decor styles. Plus, with an array of hues, it's even easier to find a complementary color palette.

The chairs are large and comfortable. The leather is soft but not the softest of leathers. As far as quality, this is a mid-quality leather product. The chairs I received don’t look exactly as they are shown on the site, specifically the back rest (see picture). Expect a a wrinkled softer look. Also, the back rest is attached to the chair which prevents me from readjusting the inside or adding more filling. I would not pay full price for this chair but I am satisfied for what I got them for. Wayfair stands behind their products and customer service is top notch. The delivery crew was also outstanding.. Lola. Long Island. Wed Oct 07 2026

I am so freaking happy about the quality of this chair. Online purchases are such a risk, for quality and comfort. But this chair nails it on both. I sink right into it in the best way possible. I was nervous about it looking sloppy too, because some of the review pics made it seem like the slip cover was messy but it's not and it steamed out beautifully. It's definitely a performance fabric (i got the blue and white striped), so it's not a super soft material but i can tell will hold up wonderfully with my two dogs. Highly Recommend.. Laura. I ordered this chair and matching ottoman in the brown color and I love them both so much. The cushions being washable is a game changer for our family of 5, and the hidden storage is a great space saving solution - 1010!. Rachel. Evergreen, CO. Tue Aug 18 2026

These breezy designs are filled with a down blend for a seating surface that will only become more comfortable over time. T-shaped seat cushions will stay firmly in place and won't slip or slide. Square flared arms neatly frame each piece and lend a casual feel, and they rest on low feet.
