The kitchen Island amazed me with the amount of storage it offers. The shelves behind the double doors are very deep and adjustable as are the shelves located at each end of the island which offers security of items from falling from the shelves. In addition, double hooks are located at the top of both ends to hang item and a convenient power strip is situated on the top corner which allows for an array of small appliances. The top of the island has enough space for a microwave and a coffee station. What I really love about this island is it rolls easily and smoothly on wheels that are hidden underneath this sturdy and well made island.. Cynthia. Maryville, IL. Thu Apr 02 2026

Love my new island! Delivery was wonderful. Guys set everything up, they were so nice and helpful! Highly recommend!. Added knobs that match my kitchen cabinets and locking casters.. Anonymous. Wed May 28 2025

I love this island so much. It has changed my whole kitchen as it looks so custom and built in. The wheels really roll so I put a thin rubber backed throw rug under it to keep it from moving. My only small complaint is I wish it had a support bracket in the middle of the drop leaf as I’m afraid my 8 year old and his friends are going to lean to hard on it and ruin the side brackets.. Susanna. Middlebury, VT. Tue Mar 18 2025

Gorgeous...well made - packaged so well...I am so very happy with it. Delivery was perfect too, nice guys....thank you Wayfair !. Joanne. US. Thu Mar 25 2021

Nice quality piece of furniture. The granite top looks darker online, but like another customer stated, could be just the differences in the natural granite. Mine was more of a light cream colored. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. The full-service delivery was exceptional! Very pleasant two young men delivered this piece of furniture without any issues. Thank you, Wayfair, this was my first time making a purchase with you and everything was better than expected.. Alisa. Murrells Inlet, SC. Thu Apr 17 2025

Made in the USA, delivers fully assembled

The island arrived in perfect condition. I uncrated it in the garage at let it stay there to air out for a few days because it smelled freshly painted. It is just what I was looking for. There is plenty of storage between the two drawers and the bottom cabinet. The butcher block top looks great against the European Gray cabinet. I did change the knobs to match the ones on my kitchen cabinet. The piece is very sturdy...and it is made in the USA! After reading how assembly of other islands could be difficult, I am happy I went with one that did not require assembly.. Beverly. US. Mon Oct 12 2020

Anchor the heart of your home in cottage-inspired style with this clean-lined Almira Kitchen Island with Wood Top. Crafted from solid mahogany wood, when the drop-leaf countertop is fully extended, providing plenty of space for meal prep. For even more function, nine open shelves offer a spot to tuck away serve-ware and other essentials. Turned details and panel accenting lend the design a touch of classic character, while a plank-like countertop and two-toned white and brown finish complete the look with a dash of countryside charm.

Phenomenal! I've had it for about 2 months. My only very minor complaint is that crumbs get caught in the grooves on the top. But also, I love that the top is a solid piece of wood with grooves in it, so you have a consistent wood grain pattern on it. It's really a great piece!. Danielle. Dublin, OH. Mon Jul 27 2026

Instruction manual for the piece was not extremely easy to navigate. Though I was able to get it put together. Some of the pre drilled holes did not match up with where the screws needed to go in. Once it was put together, it’s a really nice piece and seems sturdy. We are using it as an ironing station. It has good storage, places to hang things and also a bin that can be use for a garbage or storage bin. Overall great piece.. Amanda. Mon Aug 31 2026
