This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. The lock is weak but this is for my home so I don't need the lock. It perfectly matches my desk. Otherwise it's very good fit for my home office.. Judy. Boston. Sun May 10 2026

The box was trashed when it got here. There were 3 types of tape. The small drawer brackets for the slider part of the drawer are bent on one side so the drawer doesn’t quite close so I can’t lock it. It took about 1.5 hr to put together alone so not too bad. The instructions were fairly easy to follow as well. It is sturdy enough once assembled so I’m happy with that too. I will reach out for a new metal slide part but for now it is fine.. Daniela. This file cabinet is a piece of junk and isn't worth your time or money. The drawers are misaligned and the metal is so thin that I wouldn't trust it to hold much. The instructions are also not very clear so you'll end up taking it apart a number of times to try and correct the issue. My cabinet also came damaged with a tear on one of the brackets (needed to hold up the middle drawer). See the photos but the top drawer doesn't even clear the top. This isn't an assembly issue because the drawer track can only go into on possible mount and there is no space to move it down.. Caitlyn. Ayer, MA. Sun Oct 12 2025

I received the file cabinet in good condition. It appears well made and sturdy. I only had to put on the wheels and handles. The two front wheels have a locking mechanism to prevent it from rolling.I was disappointed that the handles are only plastic. The bottom drawer has a bar that goes across the drawer to hold up file folders. The 2 other drawers are not very deep, they measure 12Wx15'L so they aren't too small. The cabinet can be locked. My only complaint is that I ordered the color Brown and received Walnut. While walnut is a shade of brown, it was not what I wanted. After I had already cut open the box it was too much trouble to try and exchange it. I would recommend this file cabinet.. Elinor. Oak Park, IL. Sun Mar 05 2023
