The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. Can you send us a new one? I examined the box prior to opening and saw no sign of the dent or I would have refused shipment. Please advise.. Alison. Nantucket, MA. Fri Apr 17 2026

This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. The lock is weak but this is for my home so I don't need the lock. It perfectly matches my desk. Otherwise it's very good fit for my home office.. Judy. Boston. Sun May 10 2026

I’ve had this small white three-drawer file cabinet for about two years now, and I’m really happy with how well it has held up. It’s still in great condition and looks just as nice as it did when I first got it. The size is perfect for keeping things organized without taking up too much space, and the three drawers hold a surprising amount of items. I’ve used it to store a variety of things, and it has been very useful for keeping everything neat and easy to find. The white color is simple and clean, so it fits nicely with my other furniture and doesn’t look bulky or out of place. The only issue I’ve experienced is that the drawers can be a little difficult to open when they’re filled pretty full. It’s not a major problem, and I’ve found that they work better when they aren’t overloaded. Other than that, I really haven’t had any complaints. After two years of regular use, I’m impressed with the quality and durability. It has held up very well, provides plenty of storage, and still looks great. Overall, it’s been a great addition for keeping my space organized, and I would definitely recommend it.. Kari. US. Thu Aug 20 2026

It’s a good size and his roomie inside. It’s great for the price, but it does require a lot of assembly and is not particularly sturdy. Good for snoopers, but would easily break open if you dropped it. I don’t even really want to move it around much.. Heather. Portland, OR. Wed Aug 05 2026

Paperwork builds up fastest wherever several people share a space, so this steel cabinet keeps a home office, studio, or reception desk organized without taking over the room. Recessed handles sit flush with the drawer fronts, so the unit slides into a tight aisle or under a counter without snagging sleeves or chair arms, while a powder-coated finish over welded steel wipes clean of fingerprints. Because it ships flat, one person can carry it up a stairwell and assemble it from the fittings packed in the carton. Anchoring hardware ties the loaded cabinet to a wall stud, keeping it steady on uneven floors and around children, and records stay upright and visible instead of piling up across a desk.

I’m really happy with this file cabinet! It was surprisingly easy to put together, and the instructions were clear and very easy to follow from start to finish. Once assembled, it feels sturdy and well made, especially for the price. The drawers open and close smoothly and provide plenty of space for keeping paperwork organized. This two drawer filing cabinet combines a natural vacuum formed wood grain with sleek metal handles and tapered legs to create a luxurious style that complements any interior. The filing cabinet comes with a spacious desktop and plenty of storage space, making it ideal for multi-scenario use in a home office or living room.

It took us 4 and half hours (both seniors) to put it together following the illustrations. It’s worth it as it looks good and matches the contemporary office table I got from Wayfair too. The only thing not good but doable are the 2 sliding sides are very hard to push open. I slide bath soap on the groove and it helped a little but not good enough. Otherwise i would have given it a 5 stars.. Lilian. Indio, CA. Sun Aug 09 2026

Heavy‑duty 2‑drawer lateral metal filing cabinet with central lock and 2 keys. Anti‑tipping interlock allows only one drawer open at a time for enhanced safety. Full‑extension ball‑bearing slides deliver smooth pull‑out for Letter, A4 and hanging file boxes. Sturdy powder‑coated steel construction, ideal for home and commercial office document organization.

It's a good value. There were two of us putting it together and it took 1-1/2 hours to assemble it. The instructions could be clearer. If you stop and look at the picture at the back of the instruction booklet, it's easier to figure out what's what. All the screws, pieces, screwdriver and gloves were included. There was a small problem with a bowed side panel which caused both drawers on that side to not be flush when closed but it's not that obvious and still locks fine. The finish is nice. You need to pay attention to the weight limit because I don't believe this is a cabinet throw everything in.. Chris. Lafayette, IN. Sun Jul 05 2026

Purchased to match a previous purchase of a desk. Really like the style. Box contained all parts for assembly and included extra screws. Instructions were easy to follow. One side piece for the upper bookcase area had a machined hole that was incorrectly placed, about an inch off (holes used to screw shelves to the metal sides. This filing drawer cabinet will absolutely keep your home office machines, paper, files, and suppliers organized!

The file cabinet looks great. It had a lot of pieces, but we got it together. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism doesn't work properly. If we install the mechanism as directed, then the top drawer will not close. If we install only the bottom drawer mechanism, then both drawers close, but only the top drawer locks. It will work for me but I can't lock the drawers as intended. It would be impossible to assemble and return. This is a heavy file cabinet. I love the color. It would be beneficial to include an extra plastic locking mechanism in the event of a warped or deformed locking mechanism.. Karen. Durham, NC. Fri Aug 28 2026
