I would love to be able to review this product but cannot because I can’t get Perigold/Wayfair to ship it to me. I ordered this ottoman six months ago and after a three month wait received the wrong one. I called them to rectify the mistake and, after another three month wait, received another shipment of the same wrong item. When I called to rectify their first mistake, I sent a picture of the correct item to make sure the mistake would not be repeated. And, the order and delivery confirmations contained a picture of the correct item. But, alas, the wrong item again was delivered. Very frustrating!. Gerald. St. Louis, MO. Tue Mar 19 2024

Perfect size for my need.. Marjorie. Long Beach, IN. Thu Dec 22 2022

The Valencia Lavish ottoman doesn't just occupy space, it sets the tone. Supple top grain leather catches the evening light while the silhouette anchors the room in quiet confidence. This is furniture built for the moments that matter, the ones you'll remember long after the day is done. What makes this leather special? The leather here is 100% top grain on all sides, real hide from edge to edge, with none of the splits or bonded material found in lower-grade upholstery. Its semi-aniline finish is what gives it that soft-to-the-touch feel, protected by a light wax coating that only grows richer with age. Sourcing only the finest leather cuts keeps the surface looking and feeling consistently premium. How is this piece constructed? Construction starts with skilled artisans in Mexico, who build this ottoman entirely by hand, and only after your order comes in, keeping the process genuinely made-to-order rather than pulled from a warehouse shelf. A solid, hand-crafted wood frame anchors everything, reinforced by expert joinery and a webbing support system built for the long haul. What makes the cushions comfortable and supportive? Comfort here is layered: the back cushions blend foam and feather for a plush, sink-in feel, while the seat cushions combine pocket coils, foam, and feather for the kind of support that holds up over years of use. Beneath the seat cushions, a sinuous coil system adds resilience, so the ottoman keeps its shape and comfort well past the first season. How should I care for it, and how will it age? Caring for this ottoman is simple: regular dusting and an occasional wipe with a dry cloth are usually all it needs. As the leather ages, it develops a rich patina that only adds to its character, so this is a piece that's built to look better, not worse, with time. Between the construction and the leather quality, it's made to be a long-term fixture in your home, not a short-term purchase.

Leather is soft and the color was as advertised. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the wild base is unfinished (not stained). Otherwise ifs well constructed and beautiful!. Amy. Plano, TX. Tue Apr 14 2020
