This shelf set is what I expected for the price. The pine is a 2 grade, has been stained, but not top coated. The wood is sturdy enough, kiln dried, and reasonably well stained. I applied several coats of polyurethane to it and it looks excellent. As the wood ages even the color tones will even out. For the price this has been an excellent value and easy to work with. For the price I did not expect AAA wood. But, considering the cost of such items, this was solid by comparison and with a little work looks like a high grade item. I would absolutely recommend this. I used three coats of hand applied satin polyurethane and the finished effect was something you typically see only in upgraded or premium priced items. Did the work in two days.just letting the boards sit a few days to harden before assembly.. William. Kansas City, MO. Sun May 17 2026

The bookshelf is both practical and decoration with its staggered shelves design and inside arc frame. The open shelves are convenient for you to display and take the stuff you put on it, besides the staggered shelves make there is less limitation to the size of the stuff, you can put anything you want on it. The arc frame provides solid support to the shelves which can bear 20lbs each. As has been shown in the image, if you ordered 2 products, you can put them together, then the 2 arc designs in the 2 bookshelves can be put together as 2 circles which is a decoration to the bookshelves.

The unit looks great after we got it together in spite of a couple of bent rails. It’s not the best quality, but it looks nice. One tip I would give is not to tighten all the screws at first. You need some wiggle room for adjusting. Then go back to tighten.. Melody. Springfield, VA. Mon Nov 11 2024
