The chairs were carefully packed to avoid damage. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to follow except for the part with the chair stretchers. That was a bit confusing and I had to reassemble it to make it fit right. Also some of the holes were difficult to align. We have only just received these, so this review does not include a long term use. They are nice right out of the box. Easy to assemble. The wood color was very similar to online and they match our table pretty well. The green has the wear lines as shown in the orginal photos, but it looks better in person than in photos.
