Update changing my 2 star review to 4 star. Wayfair quickly sent me a replacement for the middle section. While the knob and insertion site for the new one still came bent and the slide rail needed adjusting a tiny bit so the door could slide, the entirety of the rest of the metal frame is not bent. The table is now sturdy and flush on the ends. I like it now. Wayfair….I recommend shipping this with the knobs not attached to the table. I want to like this. I’m super on-the-fence about it. It came with the inner door wire mesh bent at the knob. The corners and hinge are wonky and one door would not slide all the way closed due to the inner rail being bent. The ends of the table bow out and the table’s top slides around a bit. There is no hardware…which isn’t a bad thing, but it means that your metal frame needs to show up intact. This is a heavy 30" coffee table. Very easy to put together. I did it by myself - maybe 20 min. tops? Wood is nice - I think acacia wood which is sturdy. If you like the style it looks very much as pictured. I have 63" between the sofa chaise ends, and could have taken a 34 or 35" round, but I didn't want to have to scoot around it every time we sat down. 30" gives a place for things. It looks as pictured. When the drawer is facing the sofa, the back of the drawer cannot be seen, so it looks really sleek and clean from the other side. My only disappointment is that the top is finished in a matte acrylic. I'm sure it was done to help protect it from spills and such, but real wood (solid, no veneers) like this should have some shine to the surface. Up close, matte on real wood makes it look and feel (!) like Formica. It's still a really good deal for the money and we're happy with it. Oh, and oddly, the drawer itself is made from solid wood and has smooth-acting metal slides, which was a nice surprise. The originator knows how to box!
