I'm extremely pleased with this console table! I bought it along with the rug and lamp to spruce up our entryway. The table is sturdy, solid, and was easy to put together. The color of the stain on the wood is very pretty. This piece was delivered to my house during a total downpour when I wasn't home. It was not left on my porch, so I worried that I would have a water damaged piece of furniture to send back. But I'm happy to say that I lucked out - this was packaged in a very thick cardboard box along with styrofoam. The water didn't even penetrate through the cardboard. Phew!. Claire. Olathe, KS. I bought this to match the end tables that I bought last year. I loved the style and an extra bonus for me is that the iRobot can fit underneath it so I don't have to vacuum under it. The previous sofa table that I had also had a bottom shelf, and I kept some things on it that I would prefer to have hidden from sight (binoculars, doggie paw wipes, cover for sofa) since I wanted those things near our back door (where the sofa table sits.) Now I keep those things in the drawer so that they are out of sight, but still readily available for use. It was easy to put together. My husband and I are in our 70s, but we were able to put it together in just about 1.5 to 2 hours. We Love this Console Table. We did have to get a new one sent, because the first one was damaged. We love the look of this table in our entryway. We have gotten tons of compliments on it.
