I’m giving this table 4 starts because the craftsman ship was poor. There’s routered out grooves that the side legs fit into and one end was largerloose and then too thin to fit inside on the other end. Fortunately a small metal bar pulled it in at the base, but unfortunately, the bolt receiving pieceinsert came up with every turn. Also one of the wood pieces was slightly damages, but this piece did not impact installation or function. I do love the solid wood top and the smaller base. I have a very small space and needed a smaller circular table. This one seems to be the perfect size, however I had not considered the style of chair impacting the footprint. I solved the issue by turning the chairs to push in snug when not having company but then having them face straight in when company comes, dramatically increasing the necessary floor space. Installation was a a breeze with my drill, HOWEVER be careful not to drive them in to deep when connecting the table top or you will go right through! Beautiful dining table for a small space! For the price, this table far exceeded my expectations. It is solid wood and high quality with a lovely, smooth finish. Mine arrived well-packaged and with no imperfections. I got the linen white and it is very creamy - moreso than just off-white.
