This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . Excellent quality, colour matches the listing and the grain of the extension blends nicely, it’s solid and sturdy. No scratches or cheap coverchips etc. Instructions are pretty good but be careful around the step when attaching the legs, as we didn’t realize they need to go in reverse so that the top piece is like a box which will store the leaf. So as you see when we open it we can’t store the leaf inside, which is unfortunate but not horrible. Just beware so you don’t make this mistake. Lots of parts to put together took about 2 hours with hand drill. But worth the purchase, exactly what we wanted!. Ana Maria. Maple Ridge, BC. Tue Sep 22 2026

We really like the table, especially the storage compartment. It was pretty easy to put together. The only downfalls are the fact that you have to be careful leaning too much on one side because the table will wobble and also if we’re sitting in the living room, you can see the black metal rods that allow the table to open.
