Very functional. I wish the table top had a non-wicker surface and that the ottoman could slide under the chair when not in use. In order to slide under, the cushion must be removed. Honestly, I was quite nervous with the purchase because I read the reviews after it shipped and almost returned without trying it out. Very glad I gave it a chance! The cushions on the bottom are thinner but they don’t bother me or my partner at all and the back cushions are thick enough to make leaning back comfortable. If you want more cushion on the bottom, simply buy thicker ones separately. The leg rests are also comfortable height. I’m 5’9” for reference so it works fine for me. The only downfall for the 45 stars is that only one of the suction cups hold onto the glass for the table but truthfully it stays on just fine with only one holding it. I really love this set. Its not huge, but I dont feel cramped sitting on it. The cushions are plenty comfy, and so far, the chairs seem like theyre going to hold up well. I gave it four stars instead of five only because some of the bolts took some really difficult extra effort to get them to finally start threading into the holes correctly . Overall this patio 3-piece set looks very nice and appears sturdy. It has removable and washable cushions and the material is such that liquids bead up and roll off. I would say this set is definitely good for a smaller area, and I should have measured before getting it since it looks a bit small on our large deck. There was a small area on the ottoman where one can see a little of the underlying plastic, but I didn’t think that was worth taking away a Star. We had just finished building our gazebo and was looking for a small but nice 3 piece outdoor set. We had looked at a number of different options but kept coming back to this one.
