I am so freaking happy about the quality of this chair. Online purchases are such a risk, for quality and comfort. But this chair nails it on both. I sink right into it in the best way possible. We are VERY happy with our two Basia Chairs! The Snow Ivory fabric appears high quality. It's soft and has dimension although it is slightly loose. The dark (almost black) wood is well done. I (5'5") could sit comfortably in it for an hour or so and have a nice conversation without constantly shifting. My husband (5'11") is also comfortable in it. I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time..
