I'm using this for my entryway so people can have a place to sit to take off/put on shoes. Lots of compliments so far. The curved lines just add a little something which I love. My daughter likes to lie on it, so it is pretty comfortable too. My only minor criticism is the design of the cushion and how it leaves an open space on the bottom corners. I have to admit I scoffed a bit at the reviews that was difficult to assemble, it only has three pieces and 12 bolts. I attached the side screws first, and the corner screws wouldn't line up. I learned I had to loosen the side screws a bit and kind of wiggle the end pieces around so the holes lined up. Took me about 1.25 hours to assemble myself. So totally doable, just a bit of a learning curve!! That being said, I love love love this bench. It is sturdy, and firm, and very comfortable to me. Plus it looks awesome. What an elegant, super comfortable 39 inch bench. Beautifully crafted and very sturdy. My only gripe was the packing has absolutely no protective layer. I cut into the box and lucky for me I did not cut through the thin plastic. I couldn’t believe I didn’t damage the bench and am grateful. Other than that, it’s a fantastic, affordable purchase.
