Just received this record player stand today and was able to get it put together (with hubby's help!) in about an hour. It's made from engineered wood, so not a high class piece of wood furniture, but absolutely seems sturdy enough for its intended use. I ordered the white stand with a black top, and it really is a lovely unit. I will agree with a couple of other users that the plug-ins (two plug-ins & a USB) are a great idea, but they are located on the top of the unit and are not accessible if your record player or audio equipment is deeper than 11 inches. It might have been better for the plug-in unit to be situated on the side of the stand. For me, I will be covering it up with my record player and just draping the power cord off the back edge, which will work out fine. Five stars but for the plug-in design.. Jeri. Haxtun, CO.
