Also, some other reviews have said that there is exposed black velcro on the back, that’s not true if you put it together correctly! I bought it in green and it looks just as shown. I bought this to save money. My husband always buys furniture from "reputable" places like RH that cost THOUSANDS and I am always trying to reduce costs. I asked him to give me a chance on this couch vs. another that was 4x the cost and he loves it and approves. The seat is firm but we like that for our purpose of entertaining, not lounging (in contrast to our cozy couch in the family room). We have found that if a couch is too soft it is harder for guests to sit upright, socialize and be present because it is harder to do that on a couch that is conducive to a more relaxed posture. Others should take that into consideration before just complaining that it is too stiff. Clearly it is a structured couch. Something has to maintain that structure. Just like handbags, there are slouchy bags/totes and there are structured bags. Consider it's use and where you are choosing to place it. (Please excuse the temporary shades and lack of decor. The shades are disposable paper ones because we are waiting for our shades to be made and our furniture and rug to arrive.
