The cushions are vacuum-compressed for packaging. Before installation, please firmly pat the cushions to help the silk cotton quickly expand and fill the entire cushion. It usually takes 2-3 days for cushions to fully plump up to optimal state.

It is just the size I needed. I was surprised at how easily and quickly I put it together by myself. Only needed help setting it upright and moving it to the rug. The Johnte Full-Size Futon Frame with Full-Size Innerspring Mattress is just the thing to make my spare bedroom a functional guest room. Once together, you have a traditional futon that is sturdy, comfortable, and works as it should. Assembly wasn't overly difficult and the instructions were clear. I did have to watch part of the manufacturer's how-to video to figure out how best to lay the bed slats into the frame proper. The key is to lay it flat and get assistance from a 2nd person. Also, the 8 screws in the frame need to remain loose until that stage and only tighten them after the slats are slipped into place.
