This futon is exactly as shown and is a great quality piece for the price. All the pieces were there in individually marked cardboard boxes and the boards were wrapped to keep them from being scuffed. Everything was well marked, along with clear illustrations. It was quite impressive compared to many products these days that you have to assemble.I like that the support boards were pre-strapped together. It took my husband and son about an hour, no issues. The (full)size is great for our small spare room. The mattress is very firm but thick is as noted by others and just the color it is shown. It sits slightly higher than the back of the frame but thats so that it will fit the entire surface when it is converted to a bed- and it doesnt affect the feeling when sitting on it. The one slightly negative thing I might mention is that this isnt a couch I would sit on for long periods as the back/bottom angle is noticeable if you have lower back issues. This sofa bed is genuinely amazing and absolute perfection once you finally get it together. It is super comfortable, looks fantastic in the space, and the built-in USB and Type-C ports, side table, and storage armrests make it an absolute game changer for functionality. The side table did arrive chipped twice, but customer service has been wonderful, kind, and extremely prompt about sending out replacements. Fair warning on the assembly side of things because you will want to bring your patience the instructions are horrific and none of the parts are marked, so setup turns into a bit of a guessing game.
