We absolutely love the end table! It matches the décor of what we are looking for. We kind of have a log style cabin feel to the house. It is extremely well made. All of our Cedar Log Furniture is crafted using northern white cedar. We harvest our cedar locally from its Minnesota location. We even operate our own cedar sawmill that produces lumber for our furniture! Northern white cedar is extremely light and quite soft but boasts excellent decay resistance and strength despite these characteristics. Cedar Log is our most complete collection, and one of our most popular lines of furniture. Hickory is an excellent choice for furniture due to its innate strength, density, and character. We source our hickory from the American southeast where it is harvested in late fall and through mid-winter when its moisture content is low. From here it is kiln-dried to further remove moisture and the bark tightens around the logs during the process providing a truly beautiful texture, and a time-tested look and durability. Our Hickory Log Collection also features live-edge bark trim around its tops to further accentuate the piece. When added to the gorgeously complex graining patterns, it creates a timeless look that furthers its rustic appeal.

This table is more beautiful than I had expected. The drawer sticks a bit but hoping with time it will have an easy open. I like this end table it is very sturdy and has a beautiful rustic appearance. It did have a couple of hiccups, though. Although the box was very sturdy and undamaged, one of the table’s top corners was separated a little, adjacent to a ‘character’ crack near it. Rather than ship it back we chose to repair it at home. The table is a lot darker than viewed online. And it looks lighter in my pics than in person, where it is mostly a very dark brown (unless the sun is shining on it). No doubt, each table’s color will naturally vary somewhat. The drawer seems well-built, but it takes an effort to tug it open. In the end, although this unit should have had a better inspection at the factory, it is still a good product. I docked it one star for the corner and the drawer difficulty it could have been a 5..
