(I assembled it alone, would definitely be easier with a partner!) The wheels are already attached to the base and the table rolls very easily. It is heavy and sturdy and seems to be a quality piece that will last us years to come! Very pleased with our purchase. For clarification, the base is a square 34" x 34" with the top being 42" x 42" at the widest middle point, and the length between each octagon corner being 30". The diagonal of the table is 51". This coffee table is beautiful. It was somewhat easy to put together and came without any damage. It’s pretty solid except the thin flake board panels on the side. The most difficult part in my opinion was putting the lifts on. I will say it is top heavy. And when you lift the top you have to hold the bottom piece so it doesn’t tip.
