This seems to be a recurring issue with case goods these days, but the finish and cloth color shown on Perigold's website is definitively NOT what was deliverd. There's absolutely no 'gold' in the bench and the fabric color is white! What's even more annoying is that the finish is some weird spray-on application, such that it comes off easily if you touch it (and then you better not touch the white fabric). I've been looking for a bench to place at the end of our bed. Found one at a designer furniture store for $1,800 but just couldn't pay that much. Found this Grace bench on Wayfair for less than $900 and ordered. Great height for my husband (6 feet tall) to sit on when putting on his shoes. It has a firm seat and durable fabric.
