Received bench which 1 side support and end major flaws - filled and covered up a miss-drilled hole in 1 end piece and a splice one side rail. Would never have purchased without a serous discount if at all. I have neither time or patience to undo partial assembly and rebox to return. Seem to be other comments after reading many more of them. Not a one off issue, buyer beware. Also has protective slides on the legs in white, on dark wood. Beautiful bench! It fits right into my corridor. The bench is a little smaller than I expected but it’s a great addition to my home. The color looks like the picture and only took about 30 mins to build. Very sturdy! Had three adults sit on it for a weight check and didn’t seem to bend or feel like any of made slightly damage. This is such a great bench I’m truly thrilled. First, the color is very pretty and blends beautifully in the room with white and creams but is neutral enough to be utilized anywhere. I love how cushy it is to sit on, very comfortable. The storage is enormous; I plan to keep all my extra blankets, bedding and pillows inside. The top opens smoothly and because it has a spring hinge it is also a soft closure. I love the length but at the same time it is not too wide so it doesn’t take up unnecessary space on my floor..
