Can’t say enough about this, but that you’ll NEED a handyman (hired from Wayfair and did not disappoint) and I wish I bought the white one in my dark space! Took almost 5 hours for one professional to put together.. Doris. Bronx, NY. Thu Jul 02 2026

The design of this hall tree takes full consideration of the rational utilization of space. Its main body adopts a sturdy MDF structure, ensuring durability and stability. The vertical patterned back panel design is highly modern, creating a simple yet textured atmosphere. Fits our space well and it’s what you expect. I wish there had been dimensions for the bench height. At 22” it’s a little high for those of us under 6’ and I find myself using it less because of it. Can confirm that it took 3hrs to assemble. Instructions weren’t. Jeffrey. Woodbury, MN. Mon May 25 2026

I don’t say thus lightly but I feel utterly ripped off. Horrible quality and nowhere near the value for the price. Cheap materials. Holes not drilled properly or all the way through. I continue to order products from wayfair and consistently find the quality of the products to be very low. I’m giving myself a 1 star rating for continuing to shop here while expecting a different outcome on quality. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. Paying $1000 for something that feels like competed cardboard is unacceptable. Wayfair should give real consideration to the products they promote.. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

This hall tree services the purpose. The color is nice. Not exactly a dark navy but a little lighter. I like it! It was a beast to put together. Tired of shoes, bags, and jackets piling up by the door? This black hall tree is your morning sanity fix. Above, two spacious cabinets hide clutter while the center coat rack keeps daily wear ready to grab. Below — 16 smooth-gliding drawers, perfect for organizing gloves, pet leashes, mail, and kids’ sneakers. Built from sturdy MDF with anti-tip straps included for safety. Each drawer opens easily, no sticking or wobbling. No more lost keys or tripping over boots. Everything has a place. Assembly straightforward. Fits narrow entries or family mudrooms. Finally, a drop zone that actually works.

The cabinet is very large, almost 8’ x 8’ and about 20” deep. Probably the best packaging I’ve seen from a Wayfair product. Six shipping boxes in total, and each heavy. It will take two people to move each box for any reasonable distance. Components arrived undamaged and the assembly was straight forward with easily understood instructions. The boards are thicker, around 1” plus which is nice and makes the cabinet very feel sturdy after assembly. Recommend building the unit in-place or close by as it is too large to move around much once assembled. The only negative is the drawer slides. After careful assembly, and then disassembly and reassembly again to check my work, I noticed that the screw heads inside the drawer slides do not countersink enough to prevent catching when the drawer is pulled out or pushed in. Only some drawers seem to catch but I will remedy this by using difference screws with slightly smaller bugle heads for the slides. Otherwise, a great large cabinet with robust components that’s easy to assemble.. Colleen. New Baltimore, MI. Fri Aug 28 2026

I put it together myself, although it recommends 2 to 3 people. It is sterdy, the color is wonderful, the wood is rich looking. I an very pleased. The only problem I had was with the draws, it was hard to figure out which was the draw unit would be place. It could have been place two ways. I got that right but I put the draws in wrong, left to right. My son figured that out.. Suzan. North Bellmore, NY. Mon Jan 25 2021

Checks the box for basic functionality. I bought it to fit into a narrow space and it fits perfectly there. The downside of that of course is that the storage space is limited - hanging a backpack and jacket in the same nook is pretty crowded and you really couldn't fit stuff for more than 2 people or kids. I expected all of that from the photos. However I did not expect the drawers to be as flimsy as they are. Probably will just remove the drawers and put cube organizers into that empty space.. Jenna.
