For almost 1000$ I expected a better made product, but I suppose you are purchasing this for the same reason I did as it's very unique. I re-upholstered it so I took it all apart and got to see the interior and found severy of the uprights unattached. There were holes for screws but no screws to be found. If shipping had knocked one of them out and I sat on the edge of it, it could have crushed. I fixed it and put new fabric on it. Looks good. The bottom was also the thinnest piece of Luan that cracked in shipping and most of the pin nails holding it in had gone all the way through the incredibly cheap wood and it was just friction holding it in.
