Took a gamble on this table and I'm pleasantly surprised. It arrived packaged well with no scratches, true to color in the photos. The only deceiving thing is some of the photos show the tabletop as one piece, but it is definitely two pieces with a line down the middle (though I had looked through other product listings from the seller and expected this). Assembly was easy for one person and the table feels super sturdy/stable. The top is MDF and not real wood, so will see how it holds up long term, but knowing it was a cheaper alternative it's perfect for our needs. Excellent replacement for our older dinette set (which we loved)! Sturdy, solid wood table and chairs with dropleafs at either table end for instant additional space along with two drawers. Previous set lasted for over 22 years and we expect at least the same, if not more, from this set. Assembly was easy, except for tightening the connecting bolts with the supplied Allen wrench. Hands were sore, but the build was tight when finished. If it was possible, we would take a 1/2 star off for the hand pain, but once done, it is perfect. Worth the price.. Constantine.
