This is the perfect coffee table to match my new decor! I searched for months looking for one! It took around 4 hours to put together and you need two people for a couple things to actually finish it. My package arrived damaged, with pieces falling out and a few pieces were messed up, but since they were on the underneath side I decided to keep it since the box is SO heavy! The table feels very solid, it’s larger than most coffee tables I found and it matches my other furniture perfectly! It is a lighter oak so if you’re looking for the “warmer orangey color” this is on the lighter side but matched my end tables and fireplace perfectly! Our lift-top coffee table features a wooden top that smoothly raises or lowers by a high-quality metal mechanism and spring. Great for a laptop, writing surface, or tray, this table is versatile and dynamic. Two lower shelves at the same height give you spots for board games, blankets, and baskets. And the upper compartment is the perfect stowaway location for remotes and coasters. This table can support up to 200 lbs.

The instructions were straightforward and the assembly process was mostly easy. The table feels solid, looks nice, and was a great deal. However, the two metal lifting mechanisms included with my package did not match. Only one of them lined up with the diagram on the instructions, and neither one lined up correctly with the screw holes in the table. Ultimately I used a power drill and simply screwed them in as well as I could (I did not want to deal with a back-and-forth attempt at replacements). Now the top panel does not line up completely perfectly with the corners of the table when closed, but fundamentally it works fine and rests level.
