Then you have a choice of raising the headrest up while just sitting in it, or raise the head rest up and recline. I was so excited to receive this chair and it did not disappoint. The chair was exactly as depicted. I used the Wayfair installation service and service provider arrived the next day after delivery and did a good job. Operation of the chair is silent and all features worked accordingly. It’s very comfortable and appears to constructed in a manner which will withstand the test of time and frequent use.
