We tried reaching out to Wayfair customer service but was told nothing could be done. The chairs are adult owned and used - no harsh treatment by any means. We feel disappointed in the quality (or lack of), but also in Wayfair's refusal to stand behind a product they sold. One of the attached photos clearly shows the filling material and separated stitching. The other not so much because we have attempted to stitch it ourselves to keep it from becoming worse.. Each piece was wrapped carefully so there was no messy packaging Styrofoam when the box was opened. I bought this recliner to assist in my knee replacement comfort. The only downside is sometimes I feel like I have to keep pushing back to remain in a totally reclined position additionally, if you are looking for a wrap you up squishy comfort -this is not your chair-it does the job and is easy on the eyes.
