Rocking chairs are the perfect relaxation addition to any room in your home, especially a living room or bedroom. This one, for example, is styled in a modern and contemporary aesthetic, with a button tufted back. This rocker is crafted of birch wood, in a natural finish, and fabric upholstery. This chair measures 34.25'' H x 26.5'' W x 33.5'' D. assembly is required upon arrival. To clean, we recommend wiping with a cloth and mild soap.

This rocking chair is really cozy and looks just like the picture (although if you're really looking you can notice the velcro attached to the bottom of the seat cushion which isn't in the picture). I needed my husband's help putting it together simply because you attach the seat and back by putting the screws through the frame and screwing into the wood frames of the cushions, so you need someone to hold the cushions to the frame. The instructions could use better pictures, but did have descriptions written out of what you're supposed to do, so that made it fairly easy to put together. I appreciated that they included a screwdriver as most don't, they just tell you that you need one. Yes, you do screw into the back cushion, there is a wooden support bar tha. The back cushion did have a "zipper" but no way to unzip which I found odd. A functioning zipper would be nice if you ever wanted to refresh cushioning. For me the rock is smooth, but I'll be getting some felt strips to put on the bottom of this to save my hardwood floors. On hardwood though it rocked very smooth. The back cushion was a little thin, but again, looking at the picture you can tell this is the case. Add a blanket to the back of it and it'll be perfect cushion-wise.. Brentley. Tall Timbers, MD.
