I fear someone may put their hand on the top of it and use it to support themselves getting out of bed. I am afraid it might break. Easily solved by putting a piece of glass on the top of it. This table is perfect! Last week, I bought a new recliner from Wayfair and I needed a new table since the recliner is a swivel.
