Tables are made of metal, which I didn't know, but very much love because it is way more weather-resistant than wood. I would buy these all over again if I had the space for more. Was a little difficult to put bottom swirl base together but once you figured out one the second one was a piece of cake! So sturdy and love the high back! Rocks and swivels!
