Art and history seem to have an inspiring way of repeating themselves. The 1960's French film movement called Cinema Verite or "truth cinema" valued naturalism and realism above all the creative aesthetics. Similarly, the most sophisticated styling in today's high-end design finds its voice in the authenticity of natural materials, organic textures, and clean architectural lines. The Verite collection is crafted from random planks of sawn 5mm European White Oak veneers juxtaposed against distressed aluminum in an antiqued gunmetal finish. The veneers show all the hallmarks of naturally aged wood, including knots and season splits. End grains are cut 10mm thick to accentuate the beauty of these natural characteristics. Unique to this collection is a special water-based topcoat from the residential flooring industry that offers exceptional protection without "wetting" the appearance or natural coloration of the wood. The result is a portfolio of original designs offering a sophisticated take on casual contemporary style.

The color of this table is much lighter in person than it is depicted in photos, but the table is absolutely gorgeous. The color is a light blonde wood.. Christine. Sun Jan 18 2026

Traditional styles in solid white oak and sawn 5mm white oak veneers, featuring a lightly distressed, iridescent oak finish with dark umber hang-up. Selected pieces feature cast bronze inlays in an antiqued champagne finish, adding a distinctive accent that elevates the design. Brass hardware is finished in a rich champagne hue to complement the cast inlays. The Barnaby white oak finish was developed to reflect the hallmarks of true antiques, with a variety of stunning grain structures and areas that appear touched by the sun. Every Barnaby piece is guaranteed to vary in appearance while maintaining the authenticity that inspired the group.

Like the rest of the collection, the modern organic white oak veneers and wrapped pitted aluminum create a handsome pairing and let the materials do the talking. Verite features sawn planks of European white oak in their natural state and will show all of the hallmarks of naturally dried wood, including knots, color variation, and cracking. Although finished in a highly protective top coat, every verite top will vary in appearance and coloration from piece to piece.

Great Room collection featuring New Traditional to Transitional original designs dressed in a natural white oak finish with light wire brushing and a silky, dry hand and appearance. Accent materials include Italian Carrara marble, natural seagrass, iron, and nature-form castings of Brazilian slate finished in champagne bronze. The term New Traditional is overused and typically undefined. To us, it means taking forms that have existed for many generations and interpreting them into the present as fresh and versatile designs with textural, on-trend finishes and materials...Simpatico represents exactly that.
