This little dresser is the sweetest. It’s heavy and solid and arrived in one piece. The carvings on the front really make it unique. One drawer was stiff when opening and closing. Little assembly needed (just the base mounting needed to be screwed in from the bottom). The drawers are much smaller than I expected given the overall depth of the piece, can’t remember if those measurements were listed on the specs and I just missed it or not. Also we’re having issues with the bottom drawer being cramped and sticking to either the bottom of the frame or the drawers above it. So that’s an issue we’re figuring out. Drawers are much more shallow than expected and the frame overall seems bulkier than expected so I'd pay attention to the drawer measurements, not the actual measurements for space as we lost clothing space with these new dressers. Beautiful and substantial, but - as you can see from my photo, not exactly "ivory." It's a warm gray, which I decided is fine, but mostly because I am not going to try to return something that is so heavy!! The drawers pull smoothly, although one of them seems to have a hitch in the track. I may have to work on that. The drawers also have real wood bottoms and sides, which they should at this price. It looks great from the outside but we're pretty disappointed with the quality of wood and construction. The wood is very low-quality and sloppily glued together. Where the legs join, cheap particle board was used between the real wood in order to save money, I assume, which means that the whole dresser is more delicate than it appears. We'll have to be very careful when moving it to avoid the legs simply ripping out. There's a nice lining on the top two drawers, but filthy and cheap wood with no lining in the other four drawers. The corners are chipped, but it was wrapped so carefully when it was delivered that I have a hard time thinking it happened during shipping, at least once the item arrived to the US.
